On April 21, we hosted the April #RheumChat. In honor of Sjögren’s Awareness Month, the chat was co-hosted by the Sjögren’s Syndrome Foundation (@SjogrensOrg). The Sjögren’s Syndrome Foundation is the only national non-profit organization focused on increasing research, education and awareness for Sjögren’s.
Here are a few of the questions that were covered. See the full recap below.
Q1. What is Sjogren’s? How do you know if you have it?
Q2. How is Sjogren’s diagnosed and what challenges are associated with proper diagnosis?
Q3. What are the biggest issues for patients living with Sjögren’s and other rheumatic diseases?
Q4. What are some tips for living well with Sjogren’s?
Q5. What resources are available for someone recently diagnosed with a rheumatic disease like Sjögren’s?
Q6. What is the most recent research and work being done in the field of Sjogren’s?
